My team was tasked to redesign the NIFA website. I was the lead UX/UI designer in charge of delivering a Homepage design, 4 interior pages, along with responsive designs for tablet and mobile view. The project began with a Discovery Phase that involved content strategists. We worked together to create a sitemap and used that to inform our Megamenu design strategy. For the design, I chose a creative direction that focused on the people within the food and agriculture industry. I wanted to humanize the mission and complement the beautiful images with warm earth tones. The pictures were provided by USDA.
